Business ownership builds community wealth and closes the racial, ethic, and gender wealth gaps that persist in America, especially for immigrant and refugee communities. The impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic and the uprising around the murder of George Floyd devastated many Black, brown, indigenous, and immigrant-owned businesses in the Hennepin County.

Entrepreneurs have to balance many roles. This workshop explores how we can use the principles of bicultural healthy living to help business owners build upon their cultural values and sense of social responsibility while growing their small business.
