This Thursday at 2:00 pm ET (11:00 am PT), we'll be hosting the first session of US Ignite's Virtual Convening Series for Communities. Three reasons you need to be there...and invite your colleagues!

1. Timely: The topics of privacy, surveillance, and big data received the most votes in our December SGC poll. Relevant for sure, this week alone saw coverage from GovTech, Smart Cities Dive, and Business Reporter. 
2. Smart: The elements of the convening that feature external subject matter experts, highlight successful practices, feature a problem-solving workshop and engage all attendees with breakout rooms were chosen in November's SGC poll.
3. Open: As we won't be able to get together this spring for an actual in-person convening, this is the next best thing - and it's open to the professionals in your network!
